I am delighted to be featured on the cover of ART MAG issue 34, published in September 2026.

The magazine also features an article about my work entitled “Constructing Light”, exploring my artistic journey and my pictorial research into light, matter and construction.

Constructing Light

Light plays an essential role in my work. It is not simply a pictorial effect or a way of revealing colour: it actively contributes to the construction of my paintings.

Each work begins with a carefully considered composition, structured through lines, forms and relationships between colours. Matter then transforms this initial balance. Reliefs, grooves and impasto capture the light, allowing the perception of the painting to evolve according to the viewer’s position, distance and the surrounding light.

It is within this dialogue between structure and freedom that my pictorial research develops.

From Architecture to Painting

The article also looks back at my journey and at the way my experience in architecture and design has gradually influenced my artistic practice.

This understanding of construction, proportion and space remains present in the way I approach a canvas. Painting, however, has allowed me to pursue this exploration within a freer territory, where matter and colour can shift and transform the structure I initially envisioned.

Through each new work, I continue to seek a balance between what is constructed and what is still free to emerge.

A New Perspective on My Work

This feature in ART MAG offers an opportunity to reflect on the path I have taken and to share more widely an artistic practice that continues to evolve.

I am particularly pleased to see my work selected for the cover of this issue and presented through an article that seeks to explore what lies behind the works, beyond their immediate appearance.

I would like to thank ART MAG International for this feature and for the perspective it brings to my work.
